OKWU offers college credit for campers

Oklahoma Wesleyan University is excited to announce that Worldview Academy will be conducting their leadership training and camps on OKWU’s campus.

“In a culture buffeted by widely divergent philosophies, Worldview Academy stands on the solid foundation of scripture, training students and adults to understand their faith as a total worldview.

Each year, we encourage thousands of high school students attending our Leadership Camps and our Christianity and Culture Conferences, emphasizing servant leadership, worldview analysis, and apologetics/evangelism.” (Worldview Academy)

In addition to offering this amazing leadership camp opportunity, OKWU will be granting college credit for high school juniors and seniors who attend any of the classes offered throughout the nation by Worldview Academy. This is a wonderful chance for students to get enrolled in a Biblical worldview camp and receive college credit at the same time.

Worldview Academy is a non-denominational organization dedicated to helping Christians to think and live in accord with a biblical worldview so that they will serve Christ and lead the culture.

Check out the Worldview Academy website for more information. The first camp to be offered on the OKWU campus will be June 7-12, 2009. You can register here at www.worldview.org

If you are interested in receiving two college credit hours, please fill out and submit the application for concurrent enrollment.
