Corderio, Stojanovic win MCAC Men’s Soccer POW

Bartlesville, OK — Junior forward Lucas Corderio of Oklahoma Wesleyan University has been named MCAC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 8.

Corderio (Sao Paulo, Brazil) scored a pair of goals for the 14th-ranked Eagles in a 3-2 loss at Biola University last week.

Oklahoma Wesleyan is 3-1 this season.

OTHERS NOMINATED: Rob Jackson (Bellevue University).

Another POW honor for OKWU came through  Luka Stojanovic.

Freshman goalkeeper Stojanovic was named the MCAC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

A native Belgrade, Serbia, Stojanovic picked up the shutout in the No. 14 Oklahoma Wesleyan’s 2-0 win over The Master’s College last week.  He grabbed four saves in the win.
