The Eagles win in overwhelming fashion as they defeated the Friends Falcons 7-1. It was a very physical game as on both sides throughout the whole match but, the Eagles were able to wear out the Falcons with goals from 6 different players. With an aggressive start, the Eagles scored 3 unanswered goals in the first half. Lukic would kick off the scoring barrage as he scored within the first five minutes of the match with an assist by Alex Lozano. Picchi, assisted by Jorge Garcia, would then score in his second game following a lingering injury that had him sidelined for the entire regular season followed by a goal scored by Lozano who was assisted by Pedro Benito. Juan Martinez Cercadillo would then end the scoring drought for Friends as he connected on a penalty kick near the end of the half. The Eagles ran away with match in the second half as they added four more goals from Stefan Cvetanovic, Eric Rubio, Benito, and Lukic added in his second goal of the night.
With the win, the Eagle improve their overall season record to 18-2-0 and will face Kansas Wesleyan University in the KCAC Conference Tournament Championship on Saturday, November 10th in Salina, KS.
