Lady Eagles freshman Emily Kirchner was been named MCAC Women’s Volleyball Setter of the Week for the week ending Sept. 22.
Kirchner, a native of Bartlesville, Okla., averaged 9.83 assists, 3.33 digs and 1.33 kills per game last week as the the Tracie Collins coached side split a pair of conference matches.
After losing 3-0 to College of the Ozarks on Friday night, the Lady Eagles rebounded with a 3-0 sweep of Central Baptist College, with Kirchner collecting 30 assists and 11 digs.
Others nominated for the honor were Shelby Easley (College of Saint Mary), Becca Flavin (Waldorf College), Sarah Kreul (College of the Ozarks) and Beth Walker (Bellevue University).
Oklahoma Wesleyan is 13-5 on the season.
