Bartlesville, Okla. — The Oklahoma Wesleyan men’s basketball team registered three victories on the road last week to end its regular season road campaign on a high.
The Eagles scored 93-82, 84-72 and 92-67 Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference victories over Haskell,
York (Neb.) and Central Christian, respectively to improve to 20-8 on the season and 10-2 in the MCAC.
Leading the way on the road was senior point guard Devin Harris, who averaged 22 points, 6.67 assists and 6 rebounds per game in the three games. Harris also went an impressive 20 of 20 from the free throw line as OKWU went 3-0.
Against Haskell, Harris scored 29 points, seven rebounds and four assists, while Tyler Woods added 14 points and six boards in the win.
The star point guard then had 16 points, seven rebounds and seven assists against York College, while finishing with 21 points and nine assists in the win over Central Christian to end the road trip on Saturday.
Phillip Jahn contributed 18 points and nine boards against York, with Woods also scoring 18 points in the same game.
Josh Young led the Eagles in the York contest with a game-high 21 points to go along with his six rebounds.
Oklahoma Wesleyan returns to action this week against College of the Ozarks and Central Baptist (Ark.) on Friday and Saturday.
