Jordan Leonard Placed 2nd, Korena Aills Placed 5th for Women’s Golf at the Kansas Wesleyan Invitational

SALINA, Kan. – The Oklahoma Wesleyan women’s golf team represented well at the Kansas Wesleyan Invitational. Although the Lady Eagles were one short to qualify for a team score, they did have two golfers place in the Top 5 on the individual leaderboard.

Jordan Leonard finished in a tie for 2nd place with a two-round score of 159. Leonard shot a 6 over-par 78 in Round 1 and followed that up with a 9 over-par 81 in Round 2, as she has now finished in the Top 5 in two straight tournaments.

Korena Aills finished the tournament with a total two-rounds score of 163. She shot an 10 over-par 82 in Round 1 and a 9 over-par 81 in Round 2 of the tournament.

No team score was recorded for Oklahoma Wesleyan.
