As is customary, all KCAC basketball head coaches will be the featured speakers during the press conference. The event will first focus on men’s basketball from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. After a short lunch intermission, women’s basketball will be featured from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
KCAC Basketball Media Day includes: a meal at the Hotel at Old Town compliments of IMA, Inc. and Dissinger Reed, season outlooks from each men’s and women’s basketball head-coaches, with behind-the-scenes statements, and opportunities for media engagement. There is also ample opportunity for one-on-one access to all coaches for individual interviews and/or photo opportunities.
Basketball assistant coaches, institutional sports information directors, and support personnel from KCAC member institutions will be participating in the media day activities, in addition to the many members of the regional and state’s working press and electronic news media.
Media personnel in attendance will be asked to participate in a preseason poll for the projected finish of the 2017-18 seasons. The head coaches’ preseason polls will also be conducted and released to the media during the media day activities.
