Lady Eagles Finish 3rd at the Eagle Spring Classic in Broken Arrow

The Lady Eagles golf team hosted their first tournament of the 2019 Spring season at the Battlecreek Golf Course in Broken Arrow, OK. Junior Korena Aills kicked off day 1 with the lowest score of the day, and would end up being the lowest of the tournament, with a 75 stroke round. She would end up falling to 4th overall following a second round score of 82. Junior Jordan Leonard (83,84) and Freshman Tiffani Natera (85,82) both finished right outside the 10th spot at 11th overall shooting a 167 total for both days. Freshman Ashlyn Phipps was a part of the top 20 as she finished T-16th (85,87) and shot a 172 for both rounds. Sophomore Sonnie Palmatory finished the tournament 21st (97,93) and shot a 190 for the two rounds.

The Lady Eagles will hit the greens again on April 1st as they head to the Quail Ridge Golf Course in Winfield, KS for the Southwestern College Invitational.
