BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – The Oklahoma Wesleyan men’s basketball team dominated from start to finish against the Threshers from Bethel College. The Eagles won by a score of 92-65 at home inside the Mueller Sports Center.
Breiman Alexander came off the bench and led Oklahoma Wesleyan in scoring with a game-high 23 points. The junior went 7-of-14 from the field including five triples from behind the arc. Point guard KJ Malveau recorded 11 points, four assists, and three rebounds, while Elbert Lawrence added nine points and five assists. Jake Feickert knocked down three three-pointers on his way to nine points and Isaac Rowe pulled down a team-high six boards along with nine points. David Beck rounded out the top scorers as he went 4-for-5 for nine points.
David Harris led Bethel with 16 points. Oklahoma Wesleyan held the Threshers leading scorer Chase Banister to just two points in the contest.
As a team, the Eagles shot 44% (31/71) from the field and 41% (13/32) from behind the arc. They outrebounded Bethel 44-33 on the glass and forced the Threshers into 20 turnovers.
With the win, Oklahoma Wesleyan is now 13-6 overall and 6-5 in conference play. They will host McPherson College on Saturday, January 13th, at 5:00 PM inside the Mueller Sports Center.
