Men’s Basketball Picked 4th by Media, 3rd by Coaches’ in Preseason KCAC Polls

WICHITA, Kan. – Following the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Media Day, votes were tabulated for both the KCAC Media and Coaches Preseason Polls. Oklahoma Wesleyan was selected 4th in the Media Poll and 3rd in the Coaches’ Poll.

The Eagles return just one starter from the 2016-17 team that went 13-17 overall and 10-12 in KCAC play. Junior guard Breiman Alexander returns after leading the team in scoring at 21.2 points per game.

Head Coach Donnie Bostwick makes his return back to Oklahoma Wesleyan after previously winning a National Championship with the Eagles in 2010. For the past four seasons, Bostwick has been the Head Coach at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, TX.

Oklahoma Wesleyan will open the season on Friday, October 27th, when they host Central Christian College of the Bible at 8:00 PM inside the Mueller Sports Center.
