BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – Oklahoma Wesleyan University’s Associate Athletic Director and Sports Information Director, Nick Morris, has been named a finalist for the 2017 KCAC Sports Information Director of the Year award. Also receiving a nomination for this award are Scott Nuss of Southwestern College and Katie Tooley of Ottawa University.
Morris oversees many areas within the Oklahoma Wesleyan athletic department. He serves as the game administrator for 17 NAIA intercollegiate athletic programs, while also being the primary media contact within the department. His additional duties include developing all athletic marketing, promotional, and advertising plans; managing all social media platforms and the athletic website, conducting all video content, and supervising over 15 student workers.
He has served at many KCAC Championships over the years, while also serving as the Host Site Administrator for the 2017 NAIA Soccer Opening Round Match and the 2017 NAIA Baseball Opening Round Tournament consisting of five teams.
The 2017 KCAC SID of the Year award will be announced at the 2017 KCAC Sports Management Conference on August 8th at York College in York, Neb.
