No. 4 Men’s Soccer Dominates Bethany, 9-2

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – Oklahoma Wesleyan men’s soccer cruised to victory over Bethany College on Saturday evening.

The 4th-ranked Eagles recorded a season-high nine goals in their 9-2 win over the Swedes.

Alberto Picchi led the way from his forward position as he finished with three goals on just five total shots taken in the match. Julio Belo recorded an goal and an assist, while Aleksandar Simovic and Stefan Lukic each added goals from the midfield positions. Vinicius Sanchez, Alex Lozano, and Eric Rubio each came off the bench and each recorded the final three goals for Oklahoma Wesleyan.

As a team, the Eagles put up a total of 32 shots in the match and had 17 of those on target. Ricky Perez started at goalie and recorded three saves in his 79 minutes of action.
