OKWU MSOC Sweeps KCAC Player of the Week Honors

WICHITA, Kan. – Stefan Cvetanovic and Alex Vidizzoni of (6) Oklahoma Wesleyan University have earned this week’s KCAC Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, the conference office announced Monday. The two student-athletes were selected for their performances from Oct. 21-27 by a vote of conference sports information directors.

Cvetanovic helped guide the Eagles to two away victories and a neutral site victory. His 4 goals on the week paced the Eagles to defeating (RV) Missouri Valley College and two conference teams.

Vidizzoni played a big role for the Eagles in the net. Alex made 15 saves on the week and helped the eagles to 3 clean sheets this week. Alex has held opponents scoreless in 7 straight games. He came up with big time saves in the MVC game, where the eagles won 1-0 in overtime. Versus York, Alex came up with two big saves in the first half to keep the game at 0-0 and stopped a breakaway with the score 1-0, to keep the lead for the Eagles.
