Softball Eliminated From NAIA Opening Round After Falling To Jamestown, 4-0

DODGE CITY, Kan. – The Oklahoma Wesleyan softball team saw their season come to an end after being eliminated from the NAIA Opening Round tournament.

The Lady Eagles dropped a 4-0 decision to Jamestown (N.D.) ending their season with an overall record of 29-21.

As a team, Oklahoma Wesleyan was only able to compile two hits in the game against the Jamestown Jimmies. Jayci Wang and Payton Langley were each responsible for those hits in the 23 total plate appearances by the Lady Eagles.

Freshman pitcher Abbey Ely started in the circle for OKWU and pitched three innings allowing four earned runs and striking out three Jimmie hitters.
