Women’s Golf Places 3rd at Ottawa Invitational; Hacker Captures the Individual Crown

LAWRENCE, Kan. –¬†Oklahoma Wesleyan women’s golf held on for a 3rd place finish at the Ottawa Invitational in their second tournament of the season. The tournament was played at Eagle Bend Golf Course in Lawrence, Kansas.

Individually, Kaylee Hacker captured the title after compiling a two-round total score of 149 (+5). Hacker shot a 74 in round one and then followed that outstanding performance with a 75 in the final round. Only two shots the leader, Jordan Leonard finished in second place individually after recording a two-round score of 151 (+7). Leonard recorded a first round score of 78 and then finished the tournament with a final round best of 73. Korena Aills rounded out the top placers for the Lady Eagles after totaling a score of 159, which was good enough for a sixth place finish.

As a team, Oklahoma Wesleyan finished with a total score of 658.

Kansas Wesleyan won the team title after compiling a total score of 638.
