Women’s Golf Ties for Third at Kansas Wesleyan Fall Invitational

SALINA, Kan. – The Oklahoma Wesleyan women’s golf team tied for third in their final tournament of the fall season. Overall, the Lady Eagles finished with a team score of 693.

Oklahoma Wesleyan started the tournament with a score of 349 in round one, before compiling a score of 344 in round two holding on to their third place position. Barton County Community College jumped two places after round one and shot a 336 in round two tieing Oklahoma Wesleyan for third place overall.

Individually, Kaylee Hacker was the highest finisher for the Lady Eagles. She had a combined score of 160 (+16) which earned her a 6th place finish out of 46 competitors. Korena Aills finished right behind Hacker in 8th place after recording a total score of 163 (+18) over the two rounds. Jordan Leonard rounded out the top finishers for Oklahoma Wesleyan as she finished in 11th place with a total score of 174 (+30).
