With Oklahoma Wesleyan University’s growing expansion into online learning, an experienced team member has been added to their award winning staff. Effective immediately, Dr. Bryan Easley will fill the Dean of Online Learning position.
Dr. Easley attended Asbury College where he completed a B.A. in Media Communications. He also holds a Master of Divinity from Wesley Biblical Seminary and a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University.
From 2004 to 2010, Easley was the Associate Director of Distance Learning at Wesley Biblical Seminary, where he helped launch the Seminary’s online M.Div. program. From 2010 to 2012, he was the President of Emmaus Biblical Seminary in northern Haiti and still serves as a special faculty member and advisor to the seminary. Since 2010, Bryan has also served as an adjunct instructor for a number of schools such as Nazarene Bible College, Barclay College, Trevecca Nazarene University, Strayer University, and Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
Recently in his career, Easley has worked with World Renewal International as the Vice President for Leadership Development, helping provide training and partnerships for indigenous church leaders and movements. Easley passionately feels his calling is to help develop leaders for the church who are imitators of Christ in wisdom, holiness, and service.
Dr. Easley is a husband to his wife Leslie and father to his four children Jacob (14), Ben (12), Sarah (10), and Elizabeth (7).
In addition to OKWU’s Bartlesville and Tulsa campuses, the university is making great strides in offering an innovative online learning experience. Currently Oklahoma Wesleyan offers ten degree programs online, five undergraduate and five graduate options. The university also offers Cross Training, an online ordination program for the Wesleyan Church.
