The biggest issue in education right now revolves around something called Common Core. A new system that has provoked various conversations across the country, Common Core is a method for teaching and grading students. The methods, pedagogy, curriculum design and more have become a hot topic and has caused a serious debate to ensue across the nation.

Jenni White of Restore Oklahoma Public Education will debate Common Core State Standards and their repeal along with Michael Petrilli of the Fordham Institute at an event entitled, “Common Core Chaos?,”. The debate will be held at 7:00 p.m., November 11th on the Oklahoma Wesleyan University campus in Bartlesville.
