Operations Manager – Full-time – Bartlesville

Description

The Operations Manager is responsible for the custodial services and general maintenance of campus facilities and operations.  They are responsible for the oversight of a repair/maintenance crew and a team of custodians.

 

Supervision Given/Received

Work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Facilities.  This person is responsible for the general maintenance and custodial services of campus facilities and operations.

 

Educational Requirements and Qualifications 

  1.  A personal and vital Christian faith consistent with the mission of the university

  2. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred

  3. Experience in a buildings and grounds department is preferred

Examples of Work Performed

  • Responsible for the general maintenance of all buildings and facility equipment.

  • Responsible for the custodial services of all buildings and facilities.

  • Responsible for scheduling and supervising set ups for all for events.

  • Determine schedules and assignments for staff and student workers.

  • Maintain a schedule for on call maintenance staff.

  • Oversee the equipment and maintenance of the shop.

  • Develop a maintenance schedule for repair/maintenance projects.

  • Prioritize and schedule incoming work orders.

  • Evaluate work orders based on labor skills and equipment needed

  • Develop and implement general practices for the use of cleaning supplies, equipment and maintenance of inventories.

  • Organize training for staff and student workers on the use of cleaning supplies and equipment.

  • Assist with other tasks as assigned.
