STAR PARKER is an American syndicated columnist, author, and conservative political activist. Parker is one of the names on the short list mentioned when anyone speaks of national black conservative leaders. She is the founder and president of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education, a public policy think tank that promotes market-based solutions to fight poverty.

Before her involvement in social activism, Star had seven years of first-hand experience in the grip of welfare dependency. After consulting on federal Welfare Reform in the mid-90s, she founded UrbanCure to bring new ideas to policy discussions on how to transition America’s poor from government dependency.

ABDU MURRAY is North American Director with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries and is theauthor of two books, including his latest, Grand Central Question: Answering the Critical Concerns of the Major Worldviews. For most of his life, Abdu was a proud Muslim who studied the Qur’an and Islam. After a nine year investigation into the historical, philosophical, and scientific underpinnings of the major world religions and views, Abdu discovered that the historic Christian faith alone can answer the questions of the mind and the longings of the heart.

Abdu has spoken to diverse international audiences and has participated in debates and dialogues across the globe. He has appeared as a guest on numerous radio and televisions programs all over the world and hosts Embrace the Truth with Abdu Murray, a radio show heard on WLQV AM 1500 in Detroit and worldwide on the internet and podcast.

LAURA PERRY was raised in a Christian home and school, but rejected the Christian faith as an adult and lived as a transgender for nearly a decade. Finding the end of that path empty and void of the self-fulfillment she expected, Perry turned from that lifestyle to follow Christ in 2016.

Today, Perry teaches a women’s Sunday School where she implores women to trust God no matter what they feel or what they can see in their circumstances. She has shared her story with various churches and groups and has appeared on radio programs and in various articles. The heart that once deceived her into self-indulgence and denial of God’s truth and biological reality now beats to spread His truth that set her free: “24) Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25) For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it” (Matthew 16:24-25).
