Job Title: Graduate Assistant

Supervisor: Dean, CESB

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree

Start Date & Classification: January 2024, Hourly (average 20 hours a week for 50 weeks a year)

Qualifications:

  • A growing relationship with Jesus
  • Acceptance into the Master’s Program
  • The ability to maintain a 3.0 GPA in the master’s program

Responsibilities:

Retention:

  • Tracking student’s attendance and grades in Brightspace in order to engage with them before they fail classes
  • Assist the Dean with advising or newer/younger students with class needs
  • Oversee CESB internal marketing (displays)

Accreditation:

  • Manage the collection of data and develop reports as needed
  • Alumni relations:
  • Assist in collecting graduating seniors contact information
  • Assist in communication with CESB alumni

Assistant to Dean as needed:

  • Keep minutes for faculty meetings
  • Proctoring tests when instructors are out
  • Coordinate Sr and Foster Mansion Dinners, Resume Workshops, etc.
  • Grading assignments on occasion

CESB Office Mangement:

  • Coordinate work studies and teaching assistants duties and schedules
