I was born and raised here in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and I’m an OKWU alum. I have attended East Bartlesville Christian Church since I was a baby – and a pretty cool fact is that my grandpa helped start EBCC many, many years ago. I am a boy mama and enjoy every moment of it! God has truly blessed me with an amazing family.

The best part about my job is…

Being able to interact with people and hear their testimonies. I really enjoy being able to help students and their families feel welcome and cared for. Even if the student decides not to attend OKWU, I’m still here to help, in any way that I can, to make the entire process as easy as possible.

My favorite place to hang out on campus is…

Doc Lacy’s Coffee Shop! The atmosphere is so chill. You can go in just to order something and go, you can hang out and study, you can play a game. I think it’s such a great spot to have on campus for our students, faculty, and staff to go and fellowship.

OKWU is special because…

The feeling of home and family is unbeatable. You will be known and loved here at OKWU – the faculty and staff are here for the students to see and help them succeed.

I’d tell someone thinking about OKWU…

To come to visit campus. If you get that feeling of home, we’d love for you to come be a part of our family. If you don’t get that feeling, pray for guidance. There is no wrong decision if you’re listening to where God is calling you!

When I’m not working, I like to…

Be with my family! Whether we’re outside, hanging out around the house, or out and about, nothing beats the memories made with them.
