Fields & Track
Start Goal: $3 Million by Dec. 2024
A top priority is constructing an outdoor track, cross-country course, and turf fields for soccer, baseball, and softball. Help OKWU’s athletes excel by contributing to the Fields & Track project, which aims to raise $3 million by December 2024.
The Plan Includes:
- New Outdoor Track
- New Cross-Country Course (map)
- New Turf Fields for Soccer, Baseball, and Softball
- Infrastructure for Parking, Seating, Lights, and Future Field House
With $500,000 already pledged, we need your help to break ground and improve the outdoor athletic complex.
Field House Project
Goal: $10 Million
OKWU envisions a new multipurpose facility with indoor fields, training rooms, and locker rooms. A dynamic field house would allow for all-weather practicing, training camps, community events, and more.
The Plan Includes:
- Approximately 55,000 sq.ft. Field House with indoor turf field (half a soccer field)
- Fitness Areas, Training Rooms, and Lockers Rooms
- Athletic Offices and Concessions
- Dynamic Flex Space – functioning as classrooms, training, and a hospitality suite
- Facility use would include university activities, training camps, and community events
Key Benefits:
Retention – 74% of students report that campus recreation facilities influenced their decisions to continue attending their chosen university.
Recruitment – 67% of students report that campus recreation facilities and programs influenced their decision of which university to attend.

Mueller Sports Center Project
