OKWU Arts Discover Day

Save the date for the first ever OKWU Arts Discover Day!
High school juniors and seniors, as well as parents and teachers, are invited to join us at this special event. Students who are planning to major or minor in one of OKWU’s arts programs (Music, Theater, Film, Design) are invited to this event to learn more about the program of their choice, meet with members of OKWU’s faculty, and get to know current students in the program. If you’re considering one of OKWU’s arts programs, this event is for you!
Upon acceptance to OKWU, participants in the 2024-25 OKWU Arts Discover Day will receive a $1000 OKWU scholarship to be applied to their first two semesters of full-time enrollment.
Registration for this special event will open in the Fall of 2024!
What to expect:
- Multiple scholarships to be awarded to those in attendance
- Tickets to the OKWU Fall Theater Production: The Importance of Being Earnest
- Hands-on instruction time with OKWU Arts and Humanities faculty
- Opportunities to have your portfolio reviewed and critiqued by those in the industry
- Scholarship opportunities for portfolio review contest winners
Parents are welcome too! We have sessions and events specifically tailored to address everything they need to know about the admissions process, academics at OKWU, and more!
