Review Financial Aid and Estimated Cost
After you have been accepted and submitted a FAFSA or FAFSA Waiver, you’re ready to review your financial aid and estimated cost.
Step 1: Check your email for your OKWU Aid Offer and next steps.
Step 2: Schedule a meeting with your Student Services Counselor to review aid and cost estimate.

Become an Eagle!
Once you have been accepted to the University and reviewed your financial aid offer, the next step is to pay your commitment fee to reserve your spot in the next class and join the Eagle family!

Activate Your MyOKWU Login
After submitting the commitment and it has processed, you will receive an email from support@okwu.edu with next steps for your MyOKWU Login Account. This gives you access to your student email and much more. Your OKWU Student Email is where important information will be communicated with you so make sure to check it regularly!

Meet with advisor to register for classes (Registration for Fall 2023 starts in March)
Welcome to OKWU Advising! We look forward to meeting with you to schedule courses.
Prior to scheduling a meeting, you must have:
- Been accepted
- Paid the commitment
- Logged into your MyOKWU student portal
Congratulations on your acceptance to OKWU!
Advising options include:

The advisor sends a proposed schedule with registration instructions, so student is able to enroll themselves. Email: Advising@okwu.edu
Once a student is enrolled, advisors communicate via your OKWU email account. OKWU email is accessed via portal.okwu.edu We look forward to welcoming you to campus very soon.

Complete your Student Information Form
The Student Information Form will encompass your housing form, medical forms, parking permit, food allergies, and OKWU ID. Before starting this form, you will need the following:
- OKWU ID # (Contact your Admissions Counselor for this number)
- Vaccinations and Immunization Records
- Medical Insurance Information
- Medical History and Information
- Vehicle License Plate Number, Model, Make and Year
- A Photo ID to Upload (similar to a Passport or Driver’s License Photo)

Receive Housing Assignment & Move-In Information
Once you have completed your Commitment and your Student Information Form has been approved, you are ready for your Housing Assignment and Move-In Date. Your housing assignment will be sent to your OKWU Student email and will include a link to sign up for a move-in time slot.

Submit Final Documents
Once you have completed all of your coursework and your final grades have been submitted, you will need to have your final transcript(s) and official test scores (ACT, SAT, CLT) sent to OKWU. If you have taken any dual credit/concurrent college courses, please have transcript(s) from each University giving the credits sent to Admissions as described above.
It is vital that these materials are sent to OKWU in a timely manner. All transcripts can be submitted electronically using an electronic transcript service (Parchment, XAP, National Student Clearinghouse, etc.) or by physical mail to: Office of Admissions, OKWU, 2201 Silver Lake Road, Bartlesville, OK 74006.
Official test scores can be requested using the corresponding test scores website. If you have not taken a test, OKWU offers an ACT Residual that will be required prior to starting classes.

Finalize your Account
The last step before being able to begin classes is to finalize your account. Our Student Services Office will go over your balance and assist you in setting up a payment plan if needed.
Step 1: Make sure you have registered for classes and completed your Student Information Form

Step 3: Set up a Payment Plan (can be completed during your Zoom meeting)
Step 4: Download the TimelyCare app and create an account

SUMMER CONNECTION DAYS
Our on-campus Connection Days are optional and designed for you to experience the best part of OKWU, our people. You will hear from our President Jim Dunn, from our Provost and staff and connect with some of our student leaders. You will also begin to build relationships with other new incoming OKWU students and members of the OKWU community.

Download the Timelycare app
If you are in your dorm and you aren’t feeling well, you can use TimelyCare and speak to a doctor or licensed counselor. It has 24/7 access, so you can use it after hours or over weekends. They also have health coaching, yoga, and meditation videos. Download the TimelyCare app and create an account.

New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation (NSO) welcomes new students and parents to campus with a series of activities designed to bring students, faculty, and staff closer together. New Student and Family Orientation is coordinated by the Student Development office.
