Mission & Passion:
I am passionate about bringing the love of Christ to the world. Nursing is the platform that allows me to practically demonstrate God’s love for others in a socially and culturally acceptable way. My desire is not only care for the patients and families, but to be a role model and teacher for the next generation of nurses. I believe wholistic care (physical, emotional, and spiritual) will bring healing and peace to our hurting world. I strive to raise up high quality kingdom nurses who will preserve and live out the rich Christian heritage of nursing.
Matthew 9:35-38 (NIV) “Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.””
2 Corinthians 4:5-7, “For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.”
Psalm 138:8 (ESV) “The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.” “Let us touch the dying, the poor, the lonely and the unwanted according to the graces we have received and let us not be ashamed or slow to do the humble work”. – Mother Teresa
