Mission & Passion
My passion is teaching history and I strive to help students connect to the past and make it relevant to today. I love being able to teach history from a Christian perspective because our God is the author of history and all too often the subject is taught without Him. My goal is that students leave my classroom with not only a head full of facts and events, but also with a foundational way of looking at life and the knowledge of absolute truth.
Inspiring Verse/Quotation
Psalm 78:2-4—I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings from of old, things that we have heard and known, that our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders he has done.
Proverbs 3:5-6—Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all you ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
