Sandra Kent, Alumni Board Chair

Dear Alumni of Oklahoma Wesleyan University,

Together as alumni of Miltonvale Wesleyan, Colorado Springs Bible, Bartlesville Wesleyan, and Oklahoma Wesleyan, we share a rich history that gave each of us a foundation for our lives and careers.

Whether you graduated over fifty years ago, this past year, or somewhere in between, you are a vital part of the story of our alma mater. The time we spent during our college years learning, socializing, communing, worshipping, and growing contribute to where the school is today and building it into the future.

We are excited to announce to you the newest slate of Alumni Board members (see below), who are working diligently on plans for connecting all of us through the common bond of our great educational heritage. We look forward to broadening our reach through social media and other forms of communication. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook @OKWUalumni and LinkedIn (Oklahoma Wesleyan University) for current updates and Alumni news.

We need your help!

Please visit our website and update us on your current contact information, including email, so that we can be sure to keep you up-to-date on the exciting things happening at OKWU and with your Alumni Association: www.okwu.edu/alumni/update.

We are currently planning for Homecoming 2020, scheduled for October 9–10. We hope you will make plans to join us as we Celebrate Yesterday and Build Tomorrow. You can find more information at www.okwu.edu/homecoming. If you are not able to attend, be sure to watch social media for fun updates from wherever you are. If this changes due to the effects associated with Covid-19 protocols, we will do our best to inform you of any revised information and/or adjusted schedules.

Your Alumni Board is here to represent you, keep you informed, and celebrate your accomplishments.

Please get involved, stay up to date, and communicate with us as we strengthen our association for the betterment of us all. I invite you to join the prayer team to support OKWU and President Dunn. The prayer focus states: “We humbly seek God in prayer, asking that He would provide exactly what we need and that He would do His supernatural work in and through us every day.” It is through the intercession of prayer partners that OKWU has experienced such a blessed history.

Looking forward to great things ahead,

Sandra Kent
