Michael Thompson
Michael has taught at OKWU since 2021 as an adjunct in the history and political science department. Thompson teaches various courses, including American History, U.S. Government, Western Political Theory, and military history. He is passionate about helping students see history as “God’s theater,” connecting past events to present understanding and equipping them for lives of service. His wife, Lucia, works in OKWU’s Financial Aid department. They enjoy traveling and interacting with cross-cultural experiences, particularly in Mexican and Latin American history and cultures.
