Are you a creative and social media-savvy student looking for an exciting job opportunity? As a member of the Creative Impact team at OKWU, you’ll help us launch and maintain an engaging social media presence to attract prospective students from Gen Z and Gen Alpha. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about using their creativity, strategic thinking, project management, and video editing skills to tell compelling stories and showcase OKWU’s mission and values.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you must have a personal and vital Christian faith that aligns with OKWU’s mission. Additionally, you should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience, and significant computer literacy. If you have previous work experience in social media, that’s a plus. Just so you know, we might ask you to do other tasks not mentioned here, but they will be related to the job.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Brainstorm content ideas with OKWU teams and students to keep our social media presence fresh and exciting
- Film and edit high-quality videos in a timely manner and share them across our social media channels
- Use project management tools like ClickUp to coordinate schedules and content production
- Manage our TikTok account, post content, and engage with our community of followers
- Develop a TikTok content calendar and use analytics to inform content strategy
- Collaborate with our VP for Creative Impact and other team members
- Represent OKWU’s mission and values in all communications and interactions

- Accepted into OKWU’s master’s program
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 with a good academic record
- Strong communication, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated leadership abilities

- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Proficient in social media, especially video content, and TikTok
