Dr. Kevin Osborn

Dr. Kevin Osborn serves as the seventh president of Oklahoma Wesleyan University, leading the institution in its mission of developing and sending servant leaders who advance the Kingdom of God. He officially began serving as President on August 17, 2026.

With more than twenty-five years of leadership in Christian higher education, Dr. Osborn has served in executive and academic leadership at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Fuller Theological Seminary, Friends University, and Asbury Theological Seminary. Since joining OKWU in 2019, he has helped lead strategic initiatives, enrollment growth, institutional operations, and mission advancement as a member of the University’s executive leadership team.

Known for his thoughtful leadership, pastoral heart, and commitment to biblical truth, Dr. Osborn believes Christian higher education should shape both the mind and the soul, preparing graduates to faithfully influence every sphere of society for Jesus Christ.

An ordained minister with deep roots in the Wesleyan tradition, Dr. Osborn holds a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Kansas, a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership from Asbury Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Science from Friends University.

Kevin and his wife, Michelle, have invested personally in the OKWU community with two daughters who are Oklahoma Wesleyan alumni. Together they look forward to serving students, faculty, alumni, churches, and friends of the University as OKWU continues its legacy of Christ-centered education and Kingdom impact.
