Mail Room/General Office Graduate Assistant
Function of Job
A person in this position will coordinate the daily operations of the Mail Room/General Office. This is a year-round position and the person must be available during the 8am to 5pm work day.
Qualifications:
- A growing relationship with Jesus
- Acceptance into OKWU’s master’s program
- The ability to maintain a 3.0 GPA in the master’s program
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Organized and reliable
- Able to lift 50 pounds or less
Supervision Given/Received
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Human Resources.

Mail Room/General Office:
- Overseeing the receiving and distribution of U.S. Mail, FedEx, and UPS mail and packages.
- Overseeing the preparation of mail and packages to be mailed or shipped from the University.
- Supervision and scheduling of Work Study students.
- Answering the switchboard and directing calls.
- Waiting on customers at the window.
- Tracking and stocking office supplies for sale and toner distribution to departments.
- Create monthly charge and order reports for Controller.
- Maintain and update the extension list.
- Other duties as assigned.
University Service:
- Work fall and spring commencement
- Provide service during special university events, as needed
