On the evening of Thursday, April 26 at 7:00 the OKWU Music Program will be presenting its last concert of the year, the OKWU Spring Concert. This concert, directed by Dr. Jonathan Stewart, will feature the OKWU Jazz Ensemble, Relentless, Handbell Ensemble and Chorale. Come hear standard and hymn-based jazz arrangements, original contemporary Christian a cappella numbers, handbell quartet ringing, and a variety of choral pieces, including an African Processional, African American Spirituals, a Renaissance love song, and original pieces by the founder of Mannheim Steamroller, Jackson Berkey. This will be a musical evening you don’t want to miss. All are welcome and admission is free.
