Dean Costales

Dean Costales joined the staff of Oklahoma Wesleyan in August 2022 as the men’s and women’s assistant golf coach and is entering his first full season as Head Coach in the 2023-24 season.

Alongside his role with OKWU, Costales has run a successful personal training business for the last 37 years. Known as “Coach Dean”, Costales has trained athletes across various sports into NCAA DI, DII, DIII, NAIA and junior college programs, helping athletes play at institutions like Virginia Tech, USC, UC Santa Cruz, and Austin Peay. For the last decade, Coach Dean has created and facilitated junior and adult golf development programs, working directly with PGA and LPGA teaching professionals.

Dean is a father to three children – Chloe, Kelsey and Sebastian – and has one grandchild. He resides in Bartlesville with his wife, Katrina, and their son, Sebastian. His daughter, Kelsey, played NCAA Division I tennis and his son, Sebastian, is a member of the OKWU men’s golf team.
