Naomi Mueller, a foundational member of the Oklahoma Wesleyan Community, will be presented an Honorary Doctorate of Letters for a lifetime of dedicated service.
“It’s wild to think that four years ago, after I had been saved for 15 years, I did not believe that I needed a Savior. I still needed the Lord to save me from myself.”
“My prayer during this season has continually been: ‘Lord teach my heart to be keenly aware of the fragility and resilience of life, so that I might have a more tender appreciation for it in every season through which I walk.'”
In the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, face-to-face connection remains inadvisable, but that isn’t stopping OKWU from doing everything it can to make the 2020 Commencement a special experience for our Eagle graduates. The university will be premier a virtual graduation event May 9, at 10:30 AM CT, taking place via Facebook. Technology will allow our graduates to connect virtually with their friends, family, and the university faculty who helped them on their way to this achievement.
