Creative Impact Services
Time Frames and Planning Ahead
Production time varies depending on the service and material requested. Typically four weeks for new projects is needed—longer for mailings, video, and campaigns. The time-period estimation is from the day the project content (test, etc.) are received to the day the product is delivered. Please be aware that we may not be able to accept rush requests when doing so will compromise the schedule of ongoing time-sensitive projects. Please contact the Creative Impact office at creative.impact@okwu.edu to learn more.
If your publication will be mailed, indicate the type of mailing when submitting your request. The type of mailing may affect layout and printing. All mailed projects (bulk or otherwise) must be approved by OKWU Mail Services. Ensuring compliance with postal regulations is included in the client’s proofing process. Extra postage costs may be incurred if design does not conform to postal regulations. Clients are responsible for all labeling and mailing after the publication has been delivered.
The Creative Impact office will advise a printer for your project based on the specific needs of the project, pricing, and schedule. If you have a prefered vendor, please provide their contact info.
Once materials are received, please check your project immediately for any printing errors. If there is a problem, we will act as your liaison with the printer. Our office keeps file samples from all completed requests. (When alternative arrangements are made for delivery, send 5 copies to the Creative Impact office.)
The Creative Impact office produces digital media that furthers the mission of the university by elevating the university brand. We target a number of audiences including prospective students, families of students, alumni, and donors. Digital media content, including videos, are distributed through multiple channels including social media, online advertising, direct email, and traditional TV or radio.
Priorities for scheduling digital media projects will be coordinated by a VP or Dean with the VP for Creative Impact. Please consult with your department lead and review your communication calendar to include your project among priorities that will be reviewed with Creative Impact in advance.
