I’m aIndiana transplant living in OklahomaAfter graduating from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2017 with Bachelor’s Degrees in Christian Ministries and Business Administration, I served as a Ministry Resident and Discipleship Pastor in a local Wesleyan church in Columbus, OHJoining team OKWU in 2020 was the result of sensing the Lord’s leading to pivot ministry to Christian Higher Education

Acts 20:24: “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me;  my only aim is to finish the race  and complete the task  the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.

The best part about my job is…

Seeing students realize and take steps towards God’s calling on their life.

My favorite place to hang out on campus is…

Doc Lacy’s is certainly a happening place on campus! Be it a spot to study, do some homework, hang out with friends, or just grab a cup of joe (or another drink, if you’re like me and don’t drink coffee) Doc Lacy’s is the place!

OKWU is special because…

The people. Though we are nowhere near perfect, nor claim to be, we believe in and practice the transforming grace and truth of Jesus.

I’d tell someone thinking about OKWU…

Never underestimate the power of prayer as you make your college decision. OKWU would be a great place to consider if you’re looking for people to come alongside, challenge, develop, and care for you as a whole person made in the image of God.

When I’m not working, I like to…

Watch sports! Even better if it’s my Purdue Boilermakers, Chicago Cubs, or Indianapolis Colts. I’m also a fan of spending time with the people I love, both my family and friends, my dog Beau, traveling, and photography/videography.
