Amber Truitt

Amber Truitt serves as the Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, where she helps students and families navigate the financial side of college with clarity and confidence. She began her career in financial aid as a processor, later moved into a counselor role, and now serves in leadership—bringing a well-rounded understanding of the process from every angle. Known for her practical approach and ability to solve problems quickly, Amber works to make a process that can feel overwhelming a lot more manageable.

Finances can be one of the biggest barriers for students. I get to help remove some of that stress by giving them clear answers and a path forward. When students feel supported in this area, they’re able to focus on their education, their growth, and what they’re called to do.

Professional Organizations & Affiliations: OASFAA (Oklahoma Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators) Served in roles including Local Arrangements and Secretary, and currently a candidate for Delegate-at-Large (2026–2027)
