Oklahoma Wesleyan University (OKWU) is proud to announce that Dr. Kevin D. Osborn has accepted the position of Vice President for Enrollment Management.

Kevin, his wife Michelle, and their four children have lived in Southern California for almost ten years. Most recently, Osborn has served as the Executive Director of Communications and Systems at Real Life Church, in Valencia, California. Before that, Osborn served as the associate provost for Enrollment Management and Vocation Formation at Fuller Seminary, where he had previously served as the associate provost for Information Services and chief information officer.

“I am beyond excited that Dr. Osborn has decided to join our university,” Dr. Jim Dunn said. “He brings with him the enthusiasm and knowledge needed to make an immediate impact to our enrollment team, and I can’t wait to join with him in writing OKWU’s next chapter.”

Osborn has lived in the intersection of education, technology, and leadership since 1998, helping seminaries and universities create and implement online learning programs that meet the high-quality demands of faculty, accreditation associations, and ordination boards, while breaking down geographical barriers to serve more students.

Osborn holds an MA in Christian Leadership from Asbury Theological Seminary and a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in educational technology. During his doctoral studies at the University of Kansas, he worked as a research assistant in the eLearning Design Lab in the Center for Teaching and Learning. More recently, he has also served Christian liberal arts institutions with a particular focus on the traditional undergraduate student, helping create enrollment strategies that meet student and institutional needs.

Osborn and his family will relocate to the Bartlesville area this Christmas break. He will begin part time work with the university immediately, and he will begin his role full-time on January 1, 2020.
