Oklahoma Wesleyan University is excited to announce its first annual Give Day on April 2, 2020The initiative is a virtual event that invites alumni, family, and friends of the university to take part in supporting student success through donations to scholarship funds.

OKWU’s mission – to come alongside young men and women and help them develop their mind, body, and soul – has never been more vital, and Give Day is a key path forward to expanding the university’s impact.

Give Day presents a great opportunity for a focused, intensive fundraising effort,” President Jim Dunn said. “We’re excited for the possibilities this project presents for OKWU. I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

Contributions on April 2 will directly support student scholarships, allowing for students to continue receiving the life-changing experience of an OKWU education. A generous donor has already given a gift of $35,000, which will act as a match for donations received during the event.

Aid can be given through donation, prayer, or by helping OKWU spread the word about the event via social media, using the social media tool kit provided online. For more information, or to see how you can get involved, visit www.okwu.edu/giveday/
