Plan Your Project
Creative Impact partners with departments to produce media that advances OKWU’s mission and strengthens the university brand. Our work connects with key audiences—prospective students, families, alumni, and donors.
Project priorities are coordinated through your VP or Dean in collaboration with the Creative Impact team. Please review your department’s communication calendar and discuss timing with your lead before submitting a request.
Each design request is unique. Please allow ample time and provide complete content with your submission. Most new projects require two to four weeks, with additional time needed for mailings and multi-piece campaigns.
A project timeline will be set once your request and content are received. Turnaround times are based on content delivery, not the date of the initial request. Rush requests may not be feasible if they conflict with other time-sensitive projects. For questions or scheduling guidance, contact creative.impact@okwu.edu.
The Creative Impact Office can recommend printers based on your project’s quantity, budget, and timeline. When submitting a design request, please include your desired quantity and account number. If you have a preferred vendor, provide their contact information.
Once printed materials are received, please review them promptly for any errors. If issues arise, our team will coordinate directly with the printer on your behalf. The Creative Impact office retains samples of completed print projects. (For alternative delivery arrangements, please send two copies to our office.)
If your project includes mailing, indicate this in your design request. Lead-time is critical to your mailer’s success (ideally 6-8 weeks in advance). Mailing type (bulk, first-class, etc.) can affect both design and printing specifications.
All mailed materials must be approved by OKWU Mail Services to ensure compliance with postal regulations. Clients are responsible for postage, labeling, and mailing once printed items are delivered. Extra postage costs may apply if designs fall outside postal requirements.
