Oklahoma Wesleyan University (OKWU) is proud to announce the launch of a new brand and website.

The University unveiled new logomarks, messaging, and brand guidelines in July. The website launch marks the culmination of months of rebranding efforts led by OKWU’s Creative Impact team.

“OKWU’s new brand is a significant milestone in our distinguished 115-year history as a leader in Christian higher education,” Kory Pence, Vice President for Creative Impact, said. “We are privileged to share the transformative stories of our students, alumni, and OKWU community.”

One University. Centered on the Cross. Period.

OKWU’s future is bright, and the combination of the new logomark and color scheme embodies this optimism. The modern redesign unifies every level of experience within the OKWU community, from prospective high school students visiting campus to alumni returning to reconnect. With a more user-friendly and enhanced mobile experience, the new website is more accessible than ever before.

“The OKWU brand aspires to showcase the people and spirit of OKWU. Our brand is more than logos and colors. It is a promise of integrity and mark of academic excellence,” Pence said. “Our unified voices enhance and strengthen our reputation as an institution committed to influencing culture with the Grace & Truth of Jesus Christ.”

OKWU’s new brand is a significant milestone in our distinguished 115-year history as a leader in Christian higher education.

This announcement comes on the heels of other significant changes within the OKWU community, such as the inauguration of President Jim Dunn, the restructuring of OKWU’s adult education enterprise as Graduate and Professional Studies, and an innovative learning path for concurrent students. Additional renovations to the Bartlesville’s campus create a dynamic campus experience, including a new Admissions office in the Lyon Chapel and Fine Arts Center.

OKWU’s vision remains focused on empowering students to influence culture with the Grace and Truth of Jesus Christ.
