On March 30, for the third year in a row, Oklahoma Wesleyan University is inviting supporters to take part in something incredible: extraordinary, life-changing generosity on OKWU Give Day.

It’s a virtual event dedicated to one purpose: generously supporting OKWU students’ future—a day when our community of alumni and friends come together to give to OKWU’s Annual Fund and support student scholarships. Through the generous donations of the university community, we can ensure the gift of an OKWU education continues for generations to come.

“Give Day directly impacts our student scholarships and day-to-day operations as a University,” President Jim Dunn said. “Every gift will help us continue our mission to advance the Kingdom of Jesus Christ and help OKWU thrive.”

“Thank you! Continue supporting OKWU, because you are changing every student who comes to be able to help them get in touch with God.”

After the success of previous campaigns, this year’s goal will shift slightly. It’s all together now, and your gift of any size makes a huge impact in the lives of students as they receive scholarships and financial aid. Just ask freshman Taylor Smith:

“Financial aid has meant quite a lot because OKWU is a pretty expensive place,” Smith said. “So getting all the scholarships that I had made it very possible for me to come to OKWU and experience the unique culture that it has. Thank you! Continue supporting OKWU, because you are changing every student who comes to be able to help them get in touch with God.”

There are multiple ways for you to get involved this year. First, you can support us in prayer, lifting up the university’s needs to the Lord and asking that He continue to provide OKWU with everything it needs. Second, you can give generously here, either on March 30 or earlier. After you make your impact, you can help spread the word by posting from our social kit or creating a Facebook fundraiser to help others connect. Lastly, you can make a gift of your time by volunteering: it’s all together now, and everyone can help!

“Join Wendy and me by giving a generous, even sacrificial gift to OKWU on Give Day 2022,” President Dunn said. “We personally believe in our students and in helping this great university to continue sending our graduates as ‘One Sent’ into our world to fix it for Christ. Please consider giving your best gift as we do our best pouring our lives out for Christ through Oklahoma Wesleyan University.”
